Loyal followers of Chernitt, rejoice! 

It is our great joy to announce that the last parcel has been dispatched - Shades are now at large in every corner of Tauber, and beyond! We'd like to thank each and every one of you for your faith in us to deliver this project. :)

We've seen on social media that many of you have your cadaverous claws on the swag now, and we've had some heart-warming feedback on the quality. Some of you have even managed to give them a lick of paint already. We must say they look glorious and we can't wait to see more!

As you may have heard, this will be my last broadcast from the miserable Forsaken Forest and its misbegotten surroundings as I've been promoted to lead anchor for the Gazette's Naval Division! I for one am looking forward to never, ever, EVER setting foot within a gnomish furlong of Moonreach again, for as long as I live. This has been the most unpleasant experience of my life, especially as Tabitha "I'm so good at writing" Idlewood won the Pole-Hitcher prize for reporting on MY exclusive (without even setting one dainty toe in the city I add). I am of course far too noble to bear a grudge against my fellow journalist. Slim, however, has no such qualms and has been off folding the corners and breaking the spines of every book in Miss Idlewood's Library. Regardless, with a light heart and a full stomach, I can finally say goodbye to all this Shades nonsense. Hey folks,

This update will be short and sweet as we are in the midst of a furious phase of fulfilment! 

EU Backer Fulfilment

The big news this week is all items destined for mainland Europe have been collected and are currently on their way to our German fulfilment agent, who will then ship parcels from within the EU. We used this fulfilment partner for our previous Kickstarter campaign and they were able to dispatch all parcels within a week of receiving the goods, so we are optimistic of all 260 mainland European backers receiving their parcels very soon. You'll receive an email with tracking information when your parcel is dispatched!

UK, North America and ROW Fulfilment

Parcels bound for all non-EU address are being shipped directly by us at Goblin King Headquarters. At the time of writing, we have shipped 493 parcels with 340 still to be sent. We are no longer waiting on any items to be delivered (and subsequently assembled) so will be able to dispatch at a slightly faster rate than we were previously able to. We are acutely aware of how frustrating it is to see that others have already received a parcel while you are still waiting, so please rest assured we are working as fast as we possibly can to get every parcel out the door and into your hands! You will receive an email from moonstonethegame.com with tracking information when your parcel is dispatched.

I'm here in Booty's Bilge as a large number of Shades are embarking on a journey to lands far across the 'English Channel', wherever that may be? Loading so many spectres, spirits and skeletons on one ship has taken the port officers here a fair amount of time and no small amount of bribery to boot. When asked for comment, King Chernitt the ever eloquent, replied 'Those who backed us from the mainland despair, for our coming is nigh upon thee!' Which frankly makes me glad I'm safely here in Tauber. 

Back to the studio where Bob meets the Gnomish running team recently disqualified from the upcoming Equinox games for taking performance altering baked goods...

Hi folks,

We can confirm the rumours are true - we are shipping!

You might have seen on social media that some backers have received their pledges already and you might be wondering why you haven't had yours? Are we just meanies? Did your grandfather upset ours in a former life? What gives??

Well, we started shipping the orders that we could, and bypassed orders where we were still waiting on an item. The Doomsday Report was one item that was in the majority of pledges. We are pleased to say it has now been delivered, unlocking a large number of orders that we were previously unable to send.

I hope when you receive your copy you'll feel the slight wait to hone and perfect it was worthwhile. With detailed insights into the lore and absolutely gorgeous art, the whole team poured a lot of love into this little source book. :)

At the time of writing, we have sufficient stocks of everything now apart from Eric the Exalted, Broken Eathebex and the Psychopomp tokens (part of the Headstone Pledge level only). By the end of this week, we should have all of those deliveries too.

We have been asked a few times if you'll receive an email and a tracking number when your order ships. The answer to both questions is yes. Please continue to be patient as we churn through the dispatch process as fast as we can. And as a final reminder - it'll take us a few months to complete everything.

The Brawdol Gazette has secured an exclusive leaked copy of a confidential report. More details to follow, but it's truly unsettling reading. Unconfirmed reports also suggest Shades have been appearing at doorsteps all over Tauber in recent weeks. All I can say is you should IMMEDIATELY lock up your livestock, stock up on teacakes and NAIL YOUR DOORS SHUT. The Shades are coming!

Fulfilment is about to begin!

Hi folks,

We’re extremely pleased to say the fulfilment process is about to begin!

We have just sent out an email from Backerkit with a link to update your address if it has changed since you completed the pledge manager. If that applies to you then please enter your new address right away as we will be exporting the data from Backerkit to our shipping tool on Thursday! If you've not moved house recently then you don't need to do anything.

At the end of this week or early next week we will be sending a small handful of parcels as a test of our process. We will then be taking a short break to attend UK Games Expo, and will resume in earnest over the coming weeks as we take delivery of a few remaining items needed to complete orders. You will receive a tracking number via email when your parcel ships. Please do be patient as it may be up to 3 months before we can announce that the last parcel has been dispatched.

Because every update deserves a bit of eye candy here's a shot of our test build of Eric, the Exalted and the entire range of non-exclusives in production resin!

If you want to see these for yourself, they will be on display at UK Games Expo, Friday 31 May 2024 to Sunday 2 June. You'll find us at in Hall 2, Stand 301, right on Moonstone Avenue. We’ll hopefully see you there!

This is it Bob, the end of the world has officially begun. The apocalypse is here and it's brought some really weird friends. I may be exaggerating there but I don't think it's too much to say that this is the most important story in my entire career, eclipsing even the centennial regurgitation of Eclypse Isle's sewers I covered a few years back. I only hope I live long enough to collect the inevitable accolades, if not, well it looks like i'll get the chance to come back anyway? Can I accept a posthumous award in person? Maybe I should find Brother Daniel and see if Leshavit has anything to offer after all...

Limited editions galore

Hey folks,

In today's update we're sharing the renders of all four of the new limited edition sculpts!

The production of these limited editions is the last major task to work through before fulfilment. 

Here's a quick round up of where we are at with the rest:

Stat cards for all non-limited editions miniatures have been delivered - over 33,000 cards printed!

All old limited editions, the Forgotten King Scale Bust, Charge of the Fright Brigade, Freaky Fugday and Echo of the Forgotten King are assembled ready for shipping. 

Resin production samples of Angerboda, Never Ending Knights and The Shady Bunch have all been approved and large scale production batches are expected any day now from our caster. As soon as we get them, the packing will begin immediately (bases, stat cards, packaging etc... are already here).

Eternal Servitude and Nanny miniatures are at the mould-making stage and the packaging for those sets is being printed.

Limited edition T-Shirts are being printed and should be delivered shortly. We have the limited edition Factions Coins. The exclusive Sticker Sets are still to order, but should be a quick turn around.

The creation of new art for the Doomsday Report narrative supplement is well underway. To whet your appetite and as an example of the quality of the exclusive new art, here's a little teaser of King Chernitt in his prime!

Fulfilment - What to expect

We are going to do our utmost to begin the fulfilment process before the end of May. Around mid-May we will send an email with a link to update your address if it has changed since you completed your pledge manager.

Please be aware that the fulfilment of over 1,000 orders is a very large undertaking for a company of our size. Even with the best intentions in the world, this will not be achieved all in one day (in the past if has taken 2-3 months from the shipment of the first parcel, to the last one). Please don't be alarmed if there is some time between seeing that another backer has their parcel, and yours turning up.

We plan to fulfil all non-EU orders ourselves, directly from Goblin King Games head quarters. We will fulfil those orders in backer number order by default but some orders may be skipped over if we are still waiting on an item on the packing list to be delivered to us, and returned to as soon as the missing items arrive.

EU orders will be fulfilled from within the EU, so we will be arranging transportation of palletised stock to a fulfilment agent in mainland Europe as soon as every item has been received here.

We'll continue to keep you updated until fulfilment is complete!

Whilst this can feel like the story that is never going to end, (I certainly feel haunted by it, none of the other reporters have to deal with this nonsense) I have been assured by King Chernitt that all of his plans are currently running to schedule and all (un)deadlines are well in hand. Whether this was meant to be reassuring or threatening is not something this reporter can confirm at this time, though the last one of his minions who asked "Are we done yet?" is currently hanging by his ankles from one of the new archways.
